What is Pickleball?

Pickleball is a racket or paddle sport in which two players (singles) or four players (doubles) use a smooth-faced paddle to hit a perforated, hollow plastic ball over a 34-inch-high (0.86 m) net until one side is unable to return the ball or commits a rule infraction.
Pickleball is played indoors and outdoors.

Difference between Pickleball and Tennis?

The biggest difference between tennis and pickleball courts is the presence of the “Non-Volley Zone,” colloquially known as “the Kitchen.”
Each side of a pickleball court has a line painted 7 feet from the net that forms this zone, and players cannot hit a ball out of the air while standing in this area.
