Friendly staff greeted us and took our orders. The Milkshake was very refreshing, a good serving and was nice experience. The restaurant itself was very busy in the evening so we struggled to find a table. As well, the sauce bucket had a mini pair of scissors ! It was a comedic and functional touch. Food wait was good with the knowledge that they were very busy. The deep fried scampi was not overcooked at all, and was v almost juicy in my mouth but not in any way sludgy. The steak with the chef’s special paté looked succulent and plated nicely. The restaurant also had multiple TVs, which played English news channels. They also play live sport some days. A good family friendly restaurant!

“Some years ago this restaurant was the Aries Irish Bar that I’d used many times and was disappointed when it was a victim of the pandemic. However on our visit last year we were pleased with its replacement, albeit very different, and had a great meal. Our return this year to Tenerife allowed us to revisit Christie’s and I’m so glad we did. It’s an outstanding restaurant and worthwhile finding it as it’s a little off the ‘beaten track’. Pride in its cooking skills is obvious with the open plan kitchen as is the menu that is not oversized and has a selection of ingredients that can be maintained as always fresh. We shared the (very) garlic prawns as a starter; great!! My main was a simple chicken pasta dish with tomatoes, peppers and onions, it was a treat. The lady had Hake in leek sauce, again well cooked with a subtle sauce. The fish is covered with the sauce but can be served on the side. This place was bustling when we arrived and we could tell why. All the staff were excellent and the food was delicious. We always aim to leave a restaurant with full bellies and acknowledging good customer service and we did both here. I ordered the garlic bread with cheese, nachos with chilli and cheese and then the pepperoni pizza, and I would recommend all items (especially the nachos and chilli). We even ended the night with a complimentary shot of Limoncello!
